Wet plate collodion Ambrotypes on black glass

Whatever the memory you want to save, preserve, or recreate, we want to help!  These two miniature wet plate collodion ambrotypes were made from a client's original old family tintypes.  He wanted them to retain the damaged areas that had added character with time, so we didn't restore the damage, we just exposed with slightly more contrast than the originals so the new pieces had a new 'snap' to the appearance.  They looked great cased in an old union case, and we are excited to know they add new life to old family stories!
